This project was produced in-house at sqzd. in collaboration with London-based poet Hollie Irvin. The animation aimed to raise awareness of plastic waste devastating our oceans.

It was created using a mix of 2D, 3D and frame by frame animation, using textures created with a photocopier. We like to touch base with key issues and use the power of storytelling to communicate difficult, complex topics in an engaging and accessible form. Our passion for creativity and purpose is regularly practised and prioritised by our creative team.

We were asked to produce and direct a series of interviews with PA staff to get an insight into their motivations, the team cultures around them and how they have overcome recent challenges in light of working from home and the global pandemic.

We wanted to film grounded and real-life responses, and to do this we had a multi-camera setup which filmed from several static and handheld angles. We allowed the camera to film every second of their respective interviews to provide options in the edit. The final edit really does demonstrate the drive and ambition of PA Consulting, with the b-roll footage playfully capturing the nuances and personality of the teams within.

A stand-out 3D animation to promote WTW's pricing and underwriting software solutions to critical audiences at conferences and across social media. We made a series of animations, one for each core offering, that could be played in any order and without sound. This allowed conference attendees to engage with the content at various touch-points throughout the event and meant that each segment could be shared individually on socials. This version is the evergreen 'complete' version that showcases each piece of software and positions WTW as a leader in pricing & underwriting technology and business excellence.

As part of the London Stock Exchange rebrand, we filmed and produced a new TV advert. The brief was to craft a strong visual narrative that demonstrated their unique position of being at the heart of the global economy. To do this their new brand had to be the centrepiece, with a dedicated script informing the viewer of their values and purpose.

Our intended shooting style focused on slow-zooming, front-facing shots with their shield being a visually striking centrepiece throughout the advert. We wanted to create something that not only referenced London but also other relevant global locations. Much time and effort were spent on researching the best filming locations and sourcing relevant stock assets to tell the story, and we had to be very critical in determining the flow, pacing and intended look of the piece.

The TV advert has been a great success with prime scheduled spots on a number of financial news TV stations. The end result is a high-level advert that seamlessly blends over 10 location shoots and a range of stock assets that have been stylised in an emotive, inspirational and brand-led way.

To communicate the new narrative of LSEG's flagship product, LSEG Workspace, we created a 60-second video and accompanying photography campaign, for use across web, mobile, social and digital advertising, to position the tool as a leader in its space.
